Ordering and prices
What do you sell?
Jumbo Medjool dates (1 to 12 lb boxes, $19 to $118) and golden Zahidi dates (from $15), plus a gift box, a Baker’s Bundle and bulk cases.
Is shipping really included?
Yes. Shipping is included in every price for the lower 48 states. The price you see is the price you pay. Alaska and Hawaii are rated at checkout.
Are your dates organic?
No. We grow without pesticides, but we are not USDA certified organic and we do not call our dates organic.
Are the dates pitted?
No. Our dates are whole and unpitted, one ingredient, with nothing added or coated.
Are they halal?
Dates are a natural whole fruit and are inherently halal. Ours contain nothing but the fruit. See our halal guide.
How big are your Medjool dates?
Our jumbo Medjool run roughly 22 to 28 dates per pound.
Shipping and delivery
How fast will my order ship?
Orders are packed from our cold room and leave the farm within 3 business days.
How long does delivery take?
We ship by USPS Priority Mail, typically 1 to 3 days to the western U.S. and 4 to 5 days to the East Coast. You get a tracking email when your box ships.

Can you ship to Canada?

Can I visit the farm?
No. We are a working grove and an online store, not a visitor destination. The fruit travels, so you don’t have to.
Freshness and storage
How fresh are your dates?
They are from our most recent harvest, kept in our farm’s cold room until your order ships. We harvest once a year, and when the cold room is empty we are out until the next harvest.
How long do dates keep?
Up to 3 months in a cool pantry, up to a year in the refrigerator, and longer frozen. See our storage guide.
Why are some dates a little sugary on the outside?
Sugar can crystallize under the skin, especially in cold storage. It is natural and harmless.

Gifts
How do I send a gift with a note?
Choose a gift box (2 lb $29, 4 lb $49, 6 lb $67), enter the recipient’s address as the shipping address, and type your message in the order notes. We write it on a card and place it on top of the fruit. No invoice or prices go in the box.
What are the holiday order-by dates?
Thanksgiving: November 13. Hanukkah: November 20. Christmas: December 14. New Year’s: December 17.
Bulk and wholesale
Do you sell in bulk?
Yes. Bulk cases run from 24 lb up to 100 lb, for example 24 lb for $228 and 100 lb for $875, with shipping included.
Can a masjid, store or caterer order?

Returns and problems
What if I’m not happy with my order?
You can request a no-cost refund within 30 days of delivery, and we cover return shipping. Email us with your order number.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Tell us within 48 hours of delivery, ideally with a photo. We send a replacement at no cost, or a refund or store credit, whichever you prefer. Details are on our shipping, returns and refunds page.
