A box of fresh dates is one of the most welcome gifts for Ramadan. Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin around February 7–8, subject to the moon sighting. We grow jumbo Medjool dates on our family farm in Sky Valley, California, pack them ourselves, and ship them with your note on top. Whole and unpitted, one ingredient, shipping included.

Why Medjool for Ramadan
Dates are the traditional way to break the fast, and Medjool is the soft, rich date most families reach for at iftar. Ours are picked once a year on our farm and kept in a cold room, so a box ordered in January is still fresh in February. Read the full iftar dates guide, or see dates for suhoor. Prefer a milder date for the table? Golden Zahidi pairs well with tea and coffee.
Giving a box? Our date gift boxes page has the sizes and shipping, and the same box works for a host, a neighbor or an office. Sending several? See corporate and client gifts.
When to order
We recommend ordering by mid-January so the box arrives before Ramadan begins. Dates keep well, and our storage guide explains how to hold them until the month starts. We have one harvest a year, and when the cold room is empty, that’s it until next September.
Eid al-Fitr date gifts
Eid al-Fitr 2027 is expected around March 9–10, subject to the moon sighting. A box of dates is a natural Eid gift: for parents and grandparents, for the family hosting Eid lunch, for a neighbor, or for relatives you won’t see that day. We write your Eid Mubarak message on a card and set it on top of the fruit, with no invoice or prices in the box.

- For a host or a neighbor: the 2 lb gift box ($29).
- For parents or a family: the 4 lb or 6 lb gift box ($49 / $67).
- For maamoul and Eid baking: the Baker’s Bundle, 4 lb Medjool and 2 lb Zahidi, and our maamoul recipe.
- For many families at once: one order, many addresses, a note on each box. See gifts to many addresses.
Order by about February 22 for delivery before Eid. Our harvest is once a year and the cold room empties by spring, so ordering one box for Ramadan and one for Eid at the same time is the safe way to get both.
