This valley grows nearly all of America’s dates — and yet most of the “bulk Medjool” sold to valley restaurants and shops has been through a Los Angeles distributor and back. Why buy bulk dates from inside the valley

Most bulk Medjool moves from valley packing houses to brokers in Los Angeles, then back out to buyers — including buyers here in the valley. Every leg adds cost and days. Buying from a grower inside the valley cuts the loop entirely:

  • Current-season fruit. Hand-harvested here in late summer, packed on the ranch. Ask when a case was picked and we will tell you.
  • Jumbo grade. Roughly 22 to 28 dates per pound, hand-sorted. Smaller grades run 30 or more.
  • One ingredient. No glucose coating, no sulfites, no added sugar. Grown without pesticides — not certified organic, and we say so plainly.
  • Whole and unpitted. Less handling between the palm and your kitchen.

What we grow

Medjool — large, soft, caramel-sweet. Jumbo grade, 22 to 28 per pound.

Zahidi — golden, semi-dry, firmer and nuttier, and it keeps far longer. Very few farms sell it as whole fruit at wholesale. See our Zahidi vs Medjool comparison if you are choosing between them.

Barhi — seasonal and limited. Ask about availability or join the harvest waitlist.

What is the minimum order?
A 24 lb case for wholesale pricing. Below that, retail boxes go to 12 lb with shipping included.

Can I pick up at the farm?
For standing orders, yes — call and we will arrange it. We are on Longvue Road in Sky Valley.

How fresh is the fruit?
Current season, hand-harvested here in the valley. Ask when a case was picked and we will tell you.

Are your dates organic?
Not certified. We grow without pesticides, which is a narrower claim than certification and the only one we are entitled to make.
